Welcome to Skateholms Camping
Introduction
Skateholms Camping is a child-friendly campsite near the sandy beach in Beddingestrand.
We offer pitches for motorhomes and caravans, as well as tents. It’s also possible to rent a vacation home. Pets are welcome, and just outside, there is a lovely setting inviting you for a walk.
Guests have access to the service building, which has facilities like

At the campsite, you also have access to
- Kiosk where you can buy ice cream, drinks, snacks, and souvenirs. The kiosk is also the reception, where you check in on arrival and check out on departure. Here, it's also possible to buy LPG bottles.

Activities

Relaxing and enjoying the day is wonderful, but sometimes it’s great when you can activate yourself during the holidays.
- Hiking The landscape surrounding Beddingestrand is perfect for hiking. Walking alongside the beach, in the forest, or by using the cycling trails from Trelleborg to Ystad along the sea. Sydkustleden is an intermediate bike ride from Trellborg to Ystad. Skateholm Camping is close to the cycling trail..
- Go sightseeing, shopping, eating, and drinking. Skateholm is located 23 kilometres east of Trelleborg and 25 kilometres west of Ystad. Driving time by car is 30 minutes. If you would like to go by bus and experience the cities, landmarks, and Sweden's southernmost coastline, Skånetrafiken operates a bus from Trelleborg Central Station to Ystad (190). The nearest bus stop to the campground is Skateholm Brunnsbovägen. It’s a 10-minute walk away.
- Watersport, kitesurfing The seaside bay outside invites you to kiteboard. A sport that involves using wind power with a large power kite to pull a rider across water.
In Beddingestand, you may find restaurants, cafes, and pizza places. There are two supermarkets in the village: ICA Nära Beddingestand and Matöppet.
